Hayette Nemouchi is an Algerian geographer and researcher at the Centre for Research in Social and Cultural Anthropology (CRASC) in Oran. Her research lies within the field of social geography, with a particular focus on territorial dynamics, urban transformations, and land issues in Algeria. Her work mainly examines the relationships between territory, urbanization, and land strategies, especially in Algerian peri-urban areas. She also studies processes of territorial production, changes in urban spaces, and the social challenges related to spatial planning and territorial development.
