This research explores, through a qualitative approach, the engagement and mobilization of youth within civil society organizations. It examines both those who are or have been involved in associations, committees, or youth organizations, and those who have chosen not to engage. Intergenerational perspectives were included to understand differing representations and practices of engagement. While organizational and legal challenges are well known, the study emphasizes the need to highlight the lived experiences of those who attempted this “adventure”: how they perceive their commitment, how they experience it, and what factors encourage or discourage mobilization……
