Continuously occupied during the Quaternary by several prehistoric cultures, the site provides valuable insights into paleoenvironmental conditions and human lifeways. A geological sounding revealed a stratigraphic section of approximately 150 cm containing more than 500 artifacts (flint tools, bones, ceramics). Twenty-seven sediment samples were also collected for multidisciplinary analyses (sedimentology, magnetism, micromorphology, faunal studies), underscoring the site’s importance for reconstructing prehistoric environments and activities…..
