abstract
Leisure activities in Algeria are gaining increasing importance, ranking fifth in household budgets according to recent ONS data. Yet leisure remains a delicate subject, often conflated with sport, tourism, or culture, and rarely examined independently typically addressed within urban planning frameworks (PDAU, POS, PAW). This study, conducted under a National Research Program (PNR), aims to assess the environmental impacts of leisure infrastructure development on the peri-urban Oran coastline and to analyze user behavior.
