abstract

“Translation, Theatre and Identity: An Effect–Influence Relationship,” edited by Dr. Soraya Mouloudji, is a recent publication of the Centre of Research in Social and Cultural Anthropology (CRASC). The book presents the proceedings of an international conference bearing the same title, held on September 17–18, 2019, and organized by CRASC in cooperation with the Regional Theatre of Oran, Abdelkader Alloula. The volume includes twenty-eight scholarly papers in Arabic, English, French, and Spanish, in addition to eight reports from the conference’s scientific sessions.
